Dark Side of The Cat Year II

The Dark Side of The Cat: what is it?

DarkSideOfTheCat hosts images and thoughts from G with creative supervision by Martin the Cat.

The Gallery section displays most of the pictures I took during the last eight years or so. At the moment, the main focus is on female subjects, empty places, colorful settings and various objects. The Blog offers a periodical point of view on topics such as Travel, Study Abroad, Music, Languages and Linguistics, World Culture, Science, Animal rights and Nature in general, Social issues and other various oddities. The occasional rant might slip in; my apologies in advance. Comments are more than welcome, although i'll reserve the right to edit and possibly delete very offensive and violent language or simple display of condescending attitude; this is because I believe that having your own ideas and standing up for them, even if in a bold way at times, is a reasonable and perhaps honourable fact of life. On the other hand, being offensive on a personal level mostly means you have no real lines to support your ideas, and that... I can't take.

Back to site contents: you'll notice music going on, everytime you open a new page, or just as you read through one single page. The mini-player on the left side of the side is something really dandy, provided by a cool site, called myflashfetish.com (which I highly recommend). The player starts with a new song at every page reload, or at every page change.

That allows you to enjoy a particular tune while watching a gallery...if you think that the images you are looking at match with the sound you are hearing...otherwise, you can just skip to the next tune, or try your luck and reload the page.

The songs on the player represent a good portion of my current musical taste and I think they complement the visual part of DarkSideOfTheCat. More music might come in the future, with additional features from Jimdo, plus some extra widget.

If you don't see the player art times, it measn I am re-doing something, perhaps changing the playlist, or maybe I'm just in the mood for silence.

Ok. Enough said, time for you to explore. Enjoy.
